Champions crowned at California Winter Outdoor

The inaugural California Winter Outdoor Championships were held at Cerritos College, with South Temecula (Great Oak) capturing both team titles. The Wolfpack boys won four events, including a double from Spencer Dodds in the 1,500 and 3,000, to prevail with 63.5 points. Damien, led by Zach Shinnick's sprint double in the 60 and 300, took second with 33 points. In the girls competition, South Temecula won three events, sweeping the 4 x 800 and distance medley relays along with Ciynamon Stevenson prevailing in the triple jump to give Great Oak 63 points. Los Alamitos was girls runner-up with 25.5 points.
