The Claremont quartet of Duy Tran-Sampson, Owen Bishop, Jonah Evans and Ryan Renken won the boys distance medley relay as they clocked 10:30.08 at the Winter Outdoor Championships at Arcadia High.

The Claremont boys team of Ryan Cowgill, Jonah Evans, Owen Bishop and Ryan Renken clocked 8:16.17 to win the 4x800 relay at the Winter Outdoor Championships at Arcadia High.

Makes absolutely no sense. Look at the Milesplit merged data from all NXN Regionals and California finals and numerous California teams have far higher rankings and results than many of the "At large" teams, and in reality better squads than many of the actual NXN qualifiers.

What good does it do to merge results from seven different courses? Do you think that's accurate?

The best 4 teams eligible for at-large were Claremont, Dana Hills, Mahomet-Seymour, and LaGrange-Lyons.
