Cal State Fullerton's Sam Pimentel and Jacob Smith finished second and third in 24:48.4 and 24:48.6 in the men's Division 1 8-kilometer race at the 34th Cal State Fullerton Mark Covert Classic at Carbon Canyon Regional Park in Brea, Calif. Pimentel and Smith helped the host Titans finish third overall behind Cal Poly and UC Santa Barbara.
