Rio Mesa's Zaria Francis won the 55-meter title in a meet-record 6.94 seconds at the California state indoor final at Save Mart Center. Both Francis and Mission Hills' Suzie Acolatse (6.98) eclipsed the 2010 mark of 7.02 set by Santa Fe Christian's Jenna Puterbaugh.
